Fibonacci, formerly called Fendi, competed successfully up to 1.45m with Stephanie Holmen, based in Lisen Bratt-Fredericson's stable. After seeing a video of the magnificent white gelding at Saut Hermés in Paris, Meredith knew he was exceptional. He was bought by Jim and Kristy Clark in April 2014 and within less than three months "Nacho" developed remarkably, clearing all five big rounds he jumped in Aachen - including the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix. Quickly he became Meredith's top mount, placing 4th in the Oslo World Cup the same year.

In 2015, Fibonacci and Meredith won a major 5* Grand Prix in Wellington, Florida, and finished second in the World Cup two weeks later. That summer they were selected for the German team in the FEI European Championships in Aachen. They went on to win team silver. Individually, the white "Pegasus" and Meredith finished 8th.

In 2016, Fibonacci has proven himself to be one of the most consistent jumpers in the world, having achieved top placings in the 5* Grand Prixs of Doha, Wellington, La Baule, Madrid and Aachen. He jumped double clear rounds and won the Nation’s Cup in both Aachen and Hickstead. Fibonacci jumped clear rounds at the Rio Olympics which helped the German team secure the bronze medal.

Fibonacci is well known for his scope and unique style. Meredith believes that he has the talent to clear any course of the world.

From 2017 Fibonacci was ridden by Lillie Keenan. Due to an injury, the Keenan family and their vets decided to retire Fibonacci. Since September 2019 Fibonacci is back in Thedinghausen and enjoys his life on the field together with Le Mans and Unbelievable.
