CHIO Rotterdam

Last weekend Markus was in Rotterdam with Luke and Carlito's Way for the 5* Nations Cup event.

While 8-year-old Carlito's Way gained some valuable experience, clearing a 1.50m course, it was Luke's turn for both the Grand Prix and the Nations Cup.

After a fantastic first round, delivering three clear rounds (one of which by Markus and Luke), and only 4 faults in the second round the German team secured a second place finish, this season's best result for the German equipe.

Am vergangenen Wochenende war Markus mit Cool Hand Luke und Carlito's Way in Rotterdam beim Nationenpreisturnier am Start. Während er erst achtährige Carlito's Way wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln und in einem 1.50m Springen sogar ohne Fehler bleiben konnte, war Luke im Großen Preis und auch im Nationenpreis am Start. Das deutsche Team konnte sich nach einer tadellosen Vorstellung (drei fehlerfreie Runden, unter anderem von Markus und Luke) im ersten Umlauf und nur vier Strafpunkten im Zweiten auf einem sehr guten zweiten Rang platzieren. Das ist das beste Ergebnis für eine deutsche Equipe in dieser Saison bisher.
