At first sight, Markus and Meredith could tell Tequila was an extremely talented prospect. She was careful, scopey and brave— the three things that every rider dreams for in a horse. Only she needed to be better broke. Originally Meredith rode Tequila, but she always felt the mare was too much horse for her— often jumping her out of the tack with her powerful jump. So Markus took over. Since then it has been nothing but fabulous results for the two: 3rd in the Grand Prix in Isernhagen, 2nd in the CSI 2* Grand Prix in Verden, winner of the 2* Grand Prixs in both Villach and Lastrup.
